Anzac biscuit
Anzac biscuits are an oat and coconut biscuit associated with Australia and New Zealand, traditionally linked to the soldiers of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps and the biscuits sent to them. Made without eggs, using golden syrup and bicarbonate of soda instead, they have a long history as a biscuit that travels and keeps well.
